PackMe is provided by Kasota Labs, LLC. In this policy, "PackMe," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Kasota Labs, LLC and the PackMe app, website, and related services.

Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide and improve PackMe.
- Account information: your email address, name if provided, user identifier, sign-in records, and account settings.
- Traveler and household profiles: names or labels, ages or age groups, traveler styles, clothing and packing preferences, accessibility needs, health or medication reminders, and information about people or pets you choose to add.
- Trip information: destinations, dates, lodging, transportation, activities, notes, itinerary text, and travel confirmations you enter, paste, or upload.
- Uploaded content: itinerary documents, screenshots, photos, and other files you intentionally select for analysis.
- Personalization and feedback: packing-list actions, items you add, remove, check, reject, or approve, corrections, post-trip feedback, and memory choices.
- Device and usage information: app version, device and operating-system information, push-notification token, feature interactions, timestamps, and limited diagnostic or security data.
- Support communications: your email address and the content of messages you send us.
How we use information
- Create and refine personalized travel-preparation plans.
- Analyze itineraries, destination conditions, weather, activities, and traveler needs.
- Remember information you approve and apply it to future trips.
- Monitor saved-trip forecasts and send relevant notices when enabled.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve PackMe.
- Respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
AI processing and automated suggestions
PackMe uses artificial intelligence to analyze information you provide and generate packing, preparation, and memory suggestions. Input may be processed by AI service providers on our behalf. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Verify important weather, safety, health, medication, transportation, and entry-requirement information with an authoritative source.
Inferred preferences are presented for your review before they become lasting profile information. Explicit profile facts you ask PackMe to remember may be saved directly. You can reject suggestions or delete saved information.
Weather and destination information
PackMe may use destination and trip-date information to obtain weather forecasts and related context from third-party sources. Forecasts can change and are not guaranteed. PackMe is not an emergency-alert or official weather-warning service.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app tracking.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate PackMe, including cloud hosting, authentication, database, file storage, AI processing, weather, notification delivery, analytics, security, and customer-support providers. They process information on our behalf or under their own terms where applicable.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our services, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide PackMe, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. Some limited records may remain in backups or legal records for a reasonable period after deletion.
Your choices and rights
- Review, approve, or reject inferred memory suggestions.
- Edit or remove traveler and trip information in the app.
- Disable notifications in your device settings.
- Delete your PackMe account and associated app data from the account controls in the app.
- Contact privacy@kasotalabs.ai to request privacy assistance, subject to applicable law and identity verification.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
PackMe is designed for adults organizing travel. Adults may add age-appropriate packing information for children traveling with them. Children under 13 should not create their own accounts or provide personal information directly to PackMe. Contact us if you believe a child has done so.
International processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as PackMe changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
